Meja 36 is Nusantara’s most considered dining experience, offering a refined interpretation of Indonesian cuisine. Designed for guests who want to slow down and focus on the food, it is ideal for date nights, small groups and special occasions. The experience is intentional, focused and satisfying, without unnecessary formality.

Warung Nine Islands

Casual, everyday Indonesian food

Warung Nuanu serves familiar Indonesian dishes inspired by traditional warungs. Simple, honest cooking made for easy meals and shared moments. It is relaxed, welcoming and suited to any time of day.

The Mangrove Café

Relaxed café and bakery

The Mangrove Café is a laid-back space for coffee and desserts. Designed for casual stops, informal meetings or a break while exploring Nuanu, it offers an easy, unhurried café experience.

About the Founder

Nusantara is led by James Ephraim, a hospitality leader with over 20 years of international experience across Asia.

His work has shaped some of Bali’s most recognised venues, including Mozaic, ShiShi and Luna Beach Club, where he transformed a large site into a multi-venue lifestyle destination.
